Project Description

Albert Kahn Associates designed and provided construction administration services for a 1.2 million square feet multi-phase renovation of the historic General Motors Detroit corporate headquarters building for the new home of the State of Michigan’s Detroit government offices. Included in this project was the design of Michigan Court of Appeals judicial offices and courtrooms within the building.

Mr. Welkenbach served as assistant Project Architect and lead designer, in collaboration with interior design from Gensler Associates. Mr. Welkenbach also produced concept renderings for the courtroom finishes.
